Paquachuck Inn - "Welcome to the Paquachuck Inn".  A step back in time, a place to unwind.  A historic property on the Westport River, located on the very tip of Westport Point.  The inn was built in 1827 by privateer, Issac Cory and served as a ship chandlery and general store, a well as customs house and post office.  Original store cabinets, harpoons and huge whale vertebrae remind guests of those former days.  The imposing 3 story post and beam building towers above the town dock with views of the harbor entrance, active fishing fleet, and oyster farm.  The windows open to salt winds and the sound of the ocean.  Horseneck Beach, East Beach, Demerest Lloyd State Park and the Knubble are within a few minute's drive.

The Paquachuck Inn opened in 1950 as a waterfront 9 bedroom guest house catering to a population of beach goers drawn to the 7 miles of sand and surf that is Horseneck Beach.  Each charming and unique bedroom gazes out at an active fishing dock and colorful fleet of ships.  Rooms do not have en-suite bathrooms, however, there is 1 large full bath per floor.

This glorius inn is perfect for your family event or maybe a friend re-union.  Other suggestions include corporate retreats, weddings/receptions, family re-unions and large group rental retreats.
